Pearl (Moti)

Where Pearl Is Found

Natural pearls historically came from the Persian Gulf (Bahrain) and the Gulf of Mannar between India and Sri Lanka. Today most fine pearls are cultured — from Japan (Akoya), the South Pacific and Australia (South Sea), French Polynesia (Tahitian/black pearls), and China (freshwater, the largest volume producer worldwide).

Use

Pearl is the gemstone of Chandra, the Moon — governing mind, emotions, mother, intuition, and mental peace. Recommended to calm an afflicted or weak Moon, ease anxiety, and stabilize mood.
