Where Lapis Lazuli Is Found

Lapis Lazuli has been mined in Afghanistan's Badakhshan region for over 6,000 years - the same deposits that supplied ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia - and remains the finest source today. Chile and Russia's Lake Baikal region are secondary sources.

Use

Lapis Lazuli's deep midnight blue, flecked with golden pyrite, has long been associated with Saturn's disciplined, structuring energy, and is used as a supportive stone alongside or in place of Blue Sapphire.

When to Wear — Kundali & Dasha Guidance

Recommended when Saturn's Mahadasha or Antardasha is approaching, during Sade Sati or Dhaiya, or for those seeking clarity, self-discipline, and protection from negative influences.

Day: Saturday · Time: Evening, Krishna Paksha · Metal: Silver or Panchdhatu · Finger: Middle finger, right hand · Weight: 6–10 carats

General guidance only — a qualified astrologer should confirm suitability against the individual's actual birth chart.

Benefits of Wearing Lapis Lazuli
