Where Onyx Is Found
Black Onyx is a banded variety of chalcedony; most commercial onyx is dyed agate rather than natural black chalcedony, which is genuinely rare. Brazil, India (Rajasthan), Uruguay, and Madagascar are common sources.
Use
Onyx's grounding black colour is traditionally associated with Saturn's disciplined, protective energy, and is worn for stability, focus, and shielding against negative influences.
